Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major tournament

This young athlete boasts considerable social media following

Kai Trump can count on multiple high-profile cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to a former US president, was granted a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and frequently competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that Trump, unable to come, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa essentially told me to compete and have fun," she added.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and maintains position 461 in AJGA rankings.

Yet she's able to seek guidance from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the best player worldwide," Kai expressed.

"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He advised me to go out there, have fun, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple most prominent players in the sport at the Annika, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to different demographics, specifically among youth audiences.

The young star has a massive following and recently launched her own clothing and lifestyle brand.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
