An American-Palestinian youth after completing a nine-month period in Israeli detention without being charged gained freedom.

Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 at the time of his arrest last February in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida under suspicion of rock throwing at Jewish settlers, allegations he repeatedly contested.

The US state department expressed satisfaction with the news of Mohammed's release.

Currently aged sixteen, was taken to hospital upon gaining freedom, family members reported.

According to them, he appears pale, underweight, and is suffering from conditions developed during imprisonment.

In a statement, Mohammed's uncle expressed the family's "immense relief".

The uncle, Zeyad Kadur said the family had been "surviving a terrible, unending nightmare" throughout the past nine months.

"At this moment, we're concentrating on providing Mohammed with urgent medical care he needs after experiencing harsh conditions and cruel circumstances throughout his detention."

The state department said it would continue to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.

{"American leadership considers paramount to ensuring the safety of American nationals"," the department emphasized.

Several congressional representatives endorsed a document to the state department and the White House, urging greater action to release him.

Mr Ibrahim, parent of four children managing a frozen treats business based in Tampa, had earlier stated his child admitted guilt to throwing stones after being assaulted by soldiers.

The father hadn't visited or spoken to Mohammed since February, learning information solely about his son's condition via legal paperwork.

Mohammed was held lacking indictment at Ofer detention facility throughout the occupied territory.

The facility also contains grown detainees, featuring prisoners sentenced for major terrorist activities including killings.

An estimated 350 Palestinian child security detainees detained within Israeli facilities, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

Numerous remain uncharged along with monitoring agencies, including UN bodies, say some have suffered mistreatment and torture.

After the teenager's freedom, family representatives announced they would maintain their efforts seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.

The dual national youth per medical officials was beaten to death by Israeli settlers during a confrontation in July.

At the time, the Israeli military said authorities were looking into reports a Palestinian civilian had been killed.

The two cousins had worked together within the family's frozen treats establishment based in Florida.

No charges have been filed for the cousin's murder.

"We demand United States leadership to ensure our family's safety," the uncle stated.
